Work Site Assessments
The provision of a Work Site Assessment includes:
- A functional assessment of the employee.
- Observation and analysis of pre-injury task duties, tasks and job demands.
- Assessment of the suitability to return to pre-injury duties.
- Formulation of a return-to-work programme as appropriate.
- Providing practical recommendations and advice of changes and adaptations to duties and work hours, the environment, working practices, equipment and training needs.
The subsequent report may include:
- A structured, graded return-to-work programme.
- Appropriate timeframes for implementation.
- Specifications of modified jobs or alternative duties.
- Work environment & equipment adjustments, if appropriate.
- Support needs, where appropriate.
- Provide advice and guidance to the employer.
- Explore ways of encouraging a safe and sustainable return to pre-injury work roles, where appropriate.
